Bob and Toni Mallet Access Grants is sponsored by PATH Intl. (administered in partnership with Bob and Toni Mallet). These grants are specifically for PATH Intl.

Center Members and Premier Accredited Centers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey.

Premier Accredited Grants & Scholarships | PATH Intl Bob and Toni Mallet Access Grants for PATH Intl. Center Members and Premier Accredited Centers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, New York and New Jersey Recipients of the Bob and Toni Mallet Access Grants are required to submit a Bob and Toni Mallet Interim Grant Report at the end of year one of this two-year grant.

These grants will be used to improve access to equine-assisted services by providing financial support for credentialing and training leading to credentialing as well as financial aid for EAS participants at the full program cost up to $150 per lesson/session. PATH Intl. Center Members are eligible to receive $10,000.

PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Centers are eligible to receive $20,000. The Access Grant Program will accept applications beginning on March 2, 2026 .

Grant funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for qualified applicants. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure consideration while funds are available. The deadline for application is June 30, 2026 , however all funds may be distributed prior to the deadline.

Funds received may be used for the following trainings and certifications: PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (PATH Intl. CTRI®) PATH Intl.

Advanced Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification PATH Intl. Master Instructor Certification PATH Intl. Equine-Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) PATH Intl.

Equine-assisted Learning Microcredentials PATH Intl. Driving Certification PATH Intl.

Interactive Vaulting Certification Consideration will also be given to: American Hippotherapy Association courses American Hippotherapy Certification Board (AHCB) Certification and AHCB Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist certification for physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals The HERD Institute Equine-Assisted Learning or Psychotherapy Certifications.

Premier Accredited Center Application > The Bob and Toni Mallet fund has specific geographical requirements and is limited to centers in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states of Ohio, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey and Maryland. The grant is open to PATH Intl. Center Members and Premier Accredited Centers.

For what can the awarded funds be used? credentialed professionals and providing program cost support, access to EAS programs will increase, thereby reducing the overall number of participants on a center’s waitlist and increasing the number of individuals served. What grant amounts are available?

There are two categories of grants: Premier Accredited Centers in PA, OH, WV, NY, NJ and MD – Requests of $20,000 over two years to support credentialing and training leading to credentialing as well as financial aid for EAS participants at the full program cost up to $150 per lesson/session for a total of no more than 50% of the total annual grant award.

(Ex: $5,000 for financial aid for participants to cover full program costs and $5,000 for credentialing expenses annually). Center Members in PA, OH, WV, NY, NJ and MD – Requests of $10,000 over two years to support credentialing and training leading to credentialing as well as financial aid for EAS participants at the full program cost up to $150 per lesson/session for a total of no more than 50% of the total annual grant award.

credentials and certifications are eligible to be funded including the PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI®), PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), all other PATH Intl.

Certifications and Equine-assisted Learning Microcredentials. What types of training and other expenses are eligible? The Bob and Toni Mallet Access Grants may be used to support training expenses that will lead to credentialing. Examples include mentoring and educational courses, such as an Advanced Instructor Training course or Principles of Therapeutic Riding.

Travel expenses are not eligible. How will the applications be evaluated?

Each grant application will be reviewed using objective criteria based upon: Completeness of application Details of request and intended use of funds Overall impression of the application, center and potential for sustainable impact Impact on access for services Impact on center sustainability Anticipated outcomes and evaluation tools used to measure success What types of reports are required?

Grant reports will give detailed examples of the impact of these funds specific to improving overall access to EAS. The use of Key Performance Indicators, (KPI), center metrics such as increase in the number of credentialed professionals, increase in the number of clients or participants served, or other objective criteria are required. Periodic survey responses specific to the services offered and numbers served.

Grantees of multi-year grant awards are required to submit a report detailing use of funds within one year of the award and prior to receiving funds for the second year. Failure to provide a mid-period report will result in loss of funds for the second year. A final report is required within one month of the total grant award period.

Are there any other requirements? Recipients will be required to sign a grant agreement. Recipients will be required to provide acknowledgment as directed by PATH Intl.

What is the process after submitting an application? Applicants will receive notification within 45 days of application submission. Funds will be distributed within 90 days of application submission.

Multi-year recipients will submit one year and final reports. What are questions on the application? PATH Intl.
