Historically, our grants have been in the range of $20,000–$75,000. We typically communicate with individual applicants on the possible amount or range of a grant request. Does the Boettcher Foundation award multi-year grants?
In the past, we have not generally awarded multi-year grants. However, we may consider multi-year grant proposals that best align with our funding priorities. What is the process of applying for a grant?
Submission of the inquiry form during the open grant cycle window is the initial step in our process. If you are invited to submit a full application, we will provide the list of additional documents required. Foundation staff will review inquiries during the application windows, typically responding within six weeks of receiving the inquiry form (found on our main grantmaking page).
My organization is a governmental agency. Can we apply for a grant? The Boettcher Foundation accepts grant proposals from 501(c)(3) nonprofits and/or governmental entities that have a qualified exempt purpose.
Can I apply for multiple grant opportunities at the same time? We prefer that organizations only submit one application of either grant opportunity ( Leadership Practitioner Catalyst Grant, Rural Catalyst Grant OR Community Connections Grant ) per cycle.
