The Bolder Futures Fellowship: AI for Social Good is a Micron-sponsored, fully remote, 12-week fellowship running September through December 2026 that combines structured AI training with applied project work at a 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner. Fellows learn practical generative AI and applied machine learning skills, then deliver a meaningful, time-limited project to strengthen the nonprofit partner's capacity.
Each fellow receives a $2,000 completion stipend (U.S. tax-status only), participates in hands-on workshops during 9am-5pm PT, and receives mentorship and networking opportunities. Applicants must secure commitment from a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit before applying; nonprofits cannot apply directly but must be identified by an individual fellow.
Strong fit for emerging AI practitioners (undergraduate, graduate, early-career, or career-transition) seeking applied AI for nonprofit experience, and for nonprofits seeking pro-bono AI capacity building. Prior AI knowledge is not required.
