Applications may be submitted at any time and three funding rounds occur every year, in February, June and October.
The eleventh funding round is open until 30 June 2025 and its total allocation is €217 500, and is exclusively dedicated to Urgent Actions. Declaration on honour (org) Declaration on honour (ind) Grant agreement - Urgent Actions Grant agreement - Scale-up Projects Actions supported under this Call as a means of strengthening the fact-checking ecosystem: a. Urgent actions: projects designed to increase coverage, depth, and speed of fact-checking activities by organisations that commit to producing regular flows of fact-checks.
These actions may have a duration up to 6 months and receive a grant up to €55 000. The Call for proposals details the conditions in which a project may be selected for support (admissibility conditions), the evaluation and award procedure, the reporting and payment arrangements and other elements relevant for the admission of a successful application.
Together with the call, several templates are provided to be filled in during the application process or later when a project is approved. All applications are submitted online on this website after registration on the site. All correspondence regarding each application is channeled through the registered email address.
