U.S.-Mexico Border Program | US EPA U.S.-Mexico Border Program Border 2025: Highlights Report The Border 2025: Highlights Report is now available. It summarizes all of the binational efforts through the U.S.- Mexico Environmental Program that took place between 2021-2023.
Part 1: Circular Strategies for the Sustainable Management of Scrap Tires View Presentation Slides from Webinar on February 15, 2024 The Border 2025 Program is the latest environmental program implemented under the 1983 La Paz Agreement and serves as a model of cooperation between the United States and Mexico.
The Program supports communities along the U.S.-Mexico border region by improving environmental and health conditions through its initiatives towards clean air, land, water and ensuring communities can effectively respond to emergencies . Active participation by key partners in state and local governments, U.S. federally recognized Tribes, and Mexican indigenous communities are essential to the lasting success of these efforts.

Covering Arizona, California, Baja California, and Sonora.
