Bowl.com Diversity and Inclusion Grant Program is sponsored by United States Bowling Congress (USBC). Supports initiatives that expand access to bowling and uplift underrepresented groups, including individuals with disabilities.

Diversity & Inclusion News Bowling for All: USBC Diversity Grant Program Overview USBC is committed to building a more inclusive, welcoming and representative bowling community. The Diversity Grant Program supports innovative and impactful initiatives that expand access to bowling, remove barriers to participation and uplift underrepresented groups across the sport.

The Diversity Grant Program is designed to inspire meaningful change at both local and national levels. By supporting inclusive initiatives, USBC aims to create a bowling environment where all individuals feel welcome, supported and valued, today and for future generations.

This grant provides funding for programs and initiatives that promote bowling participation among veterans, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, women, people with disabilities, and other underrepresented communities, particularly those that have been historically underserved.

Community Impact Grants - Designed for organizations with an established track record in diversity and inclusion, these grants support the expansion of existing programs to deepen their reach and impact. Innovation Grants - These grants are intended for individuals or organizations with new ideas and well-developed plans to launch initiatives that make bowling more accessible and inclusive.

Recipients will receive a portion of the $10,000 in annual grant funding, along with guidance and support from USBC staff. In addition to financial assistance, selected programs will be highlighted on the USBC Diversity page on BOWL. com, increasing visibility and community engagement.

Applicants must be active members of the bowling community, including: Leagues and bowling organizations Local or state associations Individuals actively involved in bowling Organizations or individuals may reapply every two years following a previous Diversity Grant award.

Applicants must submit a proposal that includes: A clear mission and program plan Strategies to address barriers to participation Organizational and leadership information A sustainability plan for long-term success Measurable outcomes (e.g., participation, retention, community impact) Applications are accepted year-round: Submitted: Now – Dec. 31, 2026 → Review: Jan. 1-31 | Announcement: Feb.

1-15 Submitted: Jan. 1 – June 30, 2027 → Review: July 1-31 | Announcement: Aug. 1-15 Submitted: July 1 – Dec.

31, 2027 → Review: Jan. 1-31 | Announcement: Feb. 1-15 USBC staff will review applications for eligibility and completeness, working with applicants as needed.

Final selections will be made by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
