The Bright Ideas education grant program, proudly sponsored by North Carolina’s electric cooperatives, is here to support and elevate education in Tar Heel classrooms.
We believe in nurturing creativity and providing resources for exceptional projects that go beyond the norm, benefiting students in grades K-12. Since its inception in 1994, the Bright Ideas program has been a beacon of opportunity, awarding over $8. 5 million to dedicated teachers across North Carolina.
These grants have fueled the realization of more than 8,300 inspiring projects, reaching an astounding 1. 5 million students! Are you ready to make a difference in your classroom?
Certified K-12 classroom teachers from participating schools can apply for grants of up to $2,000. It’s a chance to bring your bright ideas to life and create an exceptional learning experience for your students. Mark your calendars!
