USAID/AFR seeks to incorporate new ideas that will directly and positively influence its programs and policies in Sub-Saharan Africa, including partnerships and investments that save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance, and help people emerge from humanitarian crises and progress beyond assistance.
This BAA will issue periodic addenda seeking sustainable solutions, scalability opportunities, feasibility studies, and other research and development initiatives addressing specific development challenges in SSA. Solutions should aim to accelerate the Journey to Self-Reliance.
