Investing in our local non-profit organizations and supporting innovative ideas through funding is critical to help ensure that each of our communities are able to thrive, now and into the future! Details : The Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) team seeks to fund the ongoing development and operations of geographically based or culturally affiliated Senior Villages, or organizations like Senior Villages, to support diverse and low-income Seniors to age well in their communities of choice and remain stably housed. There is approximately $2. 3 million in funding available.

King County Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) - Career Pathways Scholarship Pilot RFA Applications are due Wednesday, August 7th . Apply now at this link .

Details : The purpose of King County’s Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program is to retain current ESIT workforce members, create career pathways for existing ESIT staff, and strengthen the ability of ESIT providers to work effectively with diverse families.

If committed to working at a King County contracted ESIT agency, applicants may request up to $1,000 per credit hour, with a maximum of $800 per credit hour toward Educational Expenses and $200 per credit hour toward a Stipend to account for lost wages. Details : Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) helps eligible families pay for childcare. When a family qualifies for subsidy benefits and chooses a provider, the state pays a portion of the cost of childcare. Parents may be responsible for a copayment to their provider each month.
