Bud and Donna Corbin Scholarship

Bud and Donna Corbin Scholarship is sponsored by Grantable. Provides scholarships for Christian education.

Bud and Donna Corbin Scholarship - Community Foundation of North Central Washington Bud and Donna Corbin were long-time members of First Presbyterian Church of Wenatchee (now Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church) and desired to encourage and financially help students of the congregation. In memory of his wife, Bud established the Donna A Corbin Memorial Scholarship in 1997.

After Bud’s passing in 2003, the family changed the name of the scholarship to honor both Bud and Donna. This scholarship supports graduating seniors who are affiliated with Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The committee seeks to award students who demonstrate financial need, display strong moral character and integrity, and scholastic ability.

Application Opens: January 1st Application Due Date: March 1st Graduating high school seniors (public, private, or home-schooled) who are affiliated with the Saddlerock Evangelical Presbyterian Church Will attend a two or four-year college in the United States of America Based on need, potential scholastic ability and promise, not necessarily demonstrated solely by grades Student displays strong moral character and integrity Renewal is possible for recipients; must reapply and compete with new applicants APPLY NOW (opens in new tab) I am currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at Stanford.

Since the beginning of my freshman year I have been involved with clubs such as Stanford’s Space Initiative (SSI) and the Society of Latinx Engineers (SOLE). In SSI I built a rocket and launched it. Aero Methow Rescue Service Chelan Douglas Volunteer Attorney Services The grant provided funds to hire a Housing Justice and Outreach Coordinator to visit rural and underserved areas.

Rosie’s bilingual and bicultural skills and experience have increased equity of service. Rosie is building partnerships with local organizations through events such as the Columbia Valley Community Health’s Back to School Drive, as well as posting yard signs. My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard.
