NEMA Accepting Project Submissions for FEMA BRIC Program RELEASE DATE: Apr 13, 2026 NEMA is actively seeking natural hazard risk-reduction infrastructure and construction projects across Nebraska to submit for consideration under FEMA’s FY24–FY25 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program.
NEMA welcomes projects of all sizes, from small local improvements to major infrastructure projects, as long as they align with BRIC’s focus on construction-ready, resilience-enhancing mitigation activities. NEMA encourages Nebraska jurisdictions to bring forward any project that reduces risk to people, property, or critical services—urban or rural, large or small—to be reviewed and prioritized for FEMA review.
The Hazard Mitigation Unit stands ready to assist in assembling competitive project applications for FEMA funding.

California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CSNSGP) is a grant from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services that funds target hardening and security enhancements for nonprofit organizations at high risk for violent attacks and hate crimes due to their ideology, beliefs, or mission.
