CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship Program INTO A COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP. The CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship celebrates California high-school seniors who turn setbacks into success—whether that’s fighting back from injury, family hardship, or the pressures that come with school and sport.
$60,000+ in Scholarships for California High School Senior Student-Athletes The CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship Program will award $75,000 to California high school senior student-athletes and high school athletic departments.
Twenty-five (25) California high school senior student-athletes who have overcome personal adversity will each receive a $2,500 college scholarship while $500 will also be donated to their high school’s athletic departments. The CalHOPE Courage Award Scholarship Program is supported by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), which oversees CalHOPE, and endorsed by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
