Child Care Subsidy Programs | Child Care Resource Center Victorville Office: The Victorville site will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, June 16th. Working families often struggle to make ends meet and, for many families, child care is out of reach because of the cost. The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) offers several financial assistance , or subsidy, programs to qualifying families on a non-discriminatory basis.

The main subsidy programs that CCRC administers are funded through the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and the California Department of Social Services.
We offer programs and services to eligible families without regard to sex, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, race, ancestry, national origin, religion, color, or mental or physical disability. Information pertaining to families served is confidential and will be used for program administration purposes only. How Subsidized Child Care Works A family applies to CCRC for a subsidized child care payment program.
If the family qualifies, they complete the enrollment process. The family chooses a child care provider. CCRC reimburses the provider on behalf of the family.

CalWORKs Stage 1 Child Care The Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) funds CalWORKs Stage 1 subsidized child care and sets the eligibility criteria.

California Department of Social Services Participation in a California Department of Social Services (CDSS) child care program including CalWORKs Stage II, CalWORKs Stage III, Alternative Payment and Family Child Care Home Education Network is based on available funding and your qualifications for the program. Programs may serve families who currently receive cash aid/TANF or who have received it within the past 24 months.

Families who are not currently receiving cash aid, have received cash aid more than two years ago, or have never received cash aid may be eligible for other CDSS funded programs based on availability of funding.
Families must complete an Eligibility List Intake Form (see below) to be placed on the eligibility list. When funding becomes available, families with the LOWEST INCOME have priority.
