Call for applications for organizations working with children, youth, families, educators, and projects focused on youth safety, well-being, and artificial intelligence - EU Funding Call for applications to participate in a program dedicated to ensuring that artificial intelligence serves the interests of young people while minimizing risks to their development and safety.
With a total funding pool of EUR 500,000, the initiative offers individual grants ranging from EUR 25,000 to EUR 100,000. These funds are intended to support projects that generate practical tools, rigorous evidence, and policy guidance across several key areas, including AI literacy, harm prevention, and youth protection. Selected projects must actively engage with youth safety or adolescent wellbeing in the context of AI.
The program encourages a multi-disciplinary approach, funding activities such as the development of AI literacy toolkits for parents and educators, the evaluation of technical safeguards in real-world applications, and the creation of policy briefs to guide practitioners.
All applications will be evaluated based on their feasibility, relevance to the field, and their potential to deliver evidence-based outputs that can strengthen the safety of minors in digital environments.
