Call for proposals to support European SMEs in the mobility, transport, and automotive sectors to enhance their manufacturing processes through digital, green, and resilient innovations - EU Funding Call for proposals to support European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the Mobility, Transport, and Automotive (MTA) ecosystem.
Featuring a total budget of EUR 800,000, this initiative provides up to EUR 20,000 for individual projects and up to EUR 30,000 per SME for collaborative consortia to help companies redefine their manufacturing or industrial processes to become more digital, green, and resilient.
Eligible applicants must be located in an EU Member State or an SMP-associated country and will have nine months to implement their projects, covering costs such as external services, equipment, personnel, and prototyping.
The first of two application periods opened on May 13, 2026, for a two-month duration, and selected SMEs will receive financial aid alongside a complementary support package featuring technical expertise, training, and internationalization opportunities.
