PowerUp NetZero Open Call for Innovation Projects | European Cluster Collaboration Platform PowerUp NetZero Open Call for Innovation Projects The PowerUp NetZero Open Call for Innovation Projects provides financial support to SMEs and start-ups seeking to adopt, develop, or improve net-zero technologies and solutions within their processes, products, or services.

The call focuses on specific topics and challenges addressing the following Net-Zero technologies: Battery and Energy Storage Sustainable Biogas and Biomethane Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Scope of Supported Projects The call targets collaborative innovation projects aimed at: Developing and testing Proofs of Concept (PoC) for new or improved environmentally friendly products; Implementing innovative net-zero solutions and services; Conducting pilot and demonstration activities.

Total available budget: EUR 1,615,000 Number of supported projects: at least 14 projects Grant amount provided by PowerUp NetZero per project proposal: between EUR 80,000 and EUR 120,000 (covering up to 80% of the total project budget) Consortium composition: minimum 2 and maximum 3 companies Beneficiaries must provide at least 20% co-financing through private resources.

A high degree of innovation is expected from all proposed projects. Funded activities may address technical risks associated with the demonstration of innovative technologies and solutions, including: Optimisation of technology processes and operational parameters. Improvement of product, service, or solution characteristics.

Technology Readiness Level Innovation projects should demonstrate an innovative net-zero technology or solution in an operational or in a Virtual & Industrially Relevant environment (TRL 6-7) but are not necessarily expected yet to reach large scale demonstration or commercial production.

Applicants must be Consortia of SMEs (also including start-ups provided they are SMEs) established in an EU Member State or in a country participating in the Single Market Programme (SMP) at the moment of the call launching date.
