Specific grants target unemployed and dislocated workers, youths, veterans, ex-offenders, age 55-plus, and those who have a physical or mental disability.

Get Paid While Learning a Trade The On-The-Job Training program provides an opportunity for unemployed workers to learn a new trade or skill while being paid up to 26 weeks. The goal is for workers to learn while on the job which can lead to full-time employment. The One-Stop Center is staffed with an OJT specialist for those seeking more information and to discuss current employers participating in the program.
Who Qualifies for WIOA Funding? Workforce funding is generally budgeted into Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Older Youth (18-24) categories. The majority of funding is budgeted towards adult and dislocated workers who are unemployed/underemployed and others who can qualify based on specific criteria.
