Thomas the Apostle School requires significant technology infrastructure upgrades or new technology learning spaces, this grant could be applicable.

Welcome to Middlesex County Grants! The Arts Institute of Middlesex County (AIMC) and the Board of County Commissioners are pleased to offer grants to municipal and not-for-profit organizations based in Middlesex County. For more information on current grant programs, eligibility, deadlines, and workshops, please see below.

2027 General Operating Support, Program Support, Historic Preservation, and Capital Grants The Arts Institute of Middlesex County and the Board of County Commissioners are pleased to offer grants to municipal and not-for-profit organizations based in Middlesex County through a competitive application process. These grants can be used for Arts, History, Historic Preservation, and Capital projects.

Projects must serve the public and take place in Middlesex County. Applications for 2027 are now open! DECLARATION OF INTENT DUE: General Operating & Program Support I & II Guidelines Historic Preservation Grant Guidelines All current, former, and new applicants are encouraged to attend a virtual grant workshop to find out about the recent updates and changes to Middlesex County’s grant programs.

If you are writing a proposal for the first time, or have not applied in the last three years, you are required to attend one of our Grant Workshops before submitting an application. All four of the workshops below will present the same content, so you only need to plan on attending one session.

Grant funding is available to municipal entities and nonprofit organizations based in Middlesex County, which are recognized by the State of New Jersey, with IRS tax exemption as a 501c3 or 501c4 organization. All programs must take place within Middlesex County and must be open to the public and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

All projects and events must be completed by December 31st, 2026 A final report is required.

Grants range from: $1,000 - $7,500 CLICK HERE to download the 2025 Middlesex County 250th Grant Guidelines Visual Arts Education Grants The Arts Institute of Middlesex County will award grants, through a competitive process, to nonprofit organizations that provide visual arts education programming for Middlesex County residents and visitors during the 2026 calendar year.

These grants support public-facing programs that offer free or low-cost opportunities to engage in the visual arts and help reduce barriers to participation. Grant funding is available to nonprofit organizations based in Middlesex County that are recognized by the State of New Jersey and hold IRS tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization at the time of application submission.

All grant-funded activities must take place within Middlesex County, must be open to the public, and must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. All projects and events must be completed by December 31, 2026. A final report is required.

Grants range from $1,000 to $4,000, and no cash match is required.
