Capital One Grant: Improving Community Vital Conditions is sponsored by Delaware Community Foundation. This grant program, in collaboration with Healthy Communities Delaware, supports projects and services that focus on improving community vital conditions, with an emphasis on expanding economic opportunity for low- and moderate-income (LMI) consumers and communities.

Through this plan, developed in partnership with leading community organizations, we will continue our mission to Change Banking for Good. Our grant process for the CBP will follow our typical practice of always-on sourcing and relationship development, and we will only be accepting grant requests received by invitation.

In select cases, we may supplement our approach with an open call or RFP process. Capital One’s approach recognizes the need to apply most of our funding against solutions that are driven locally at a market level. This is also supplemented with select partnerships with national organizations that have demonstrated ability to innovate and drive impact at scale.
