Career Launch Grants (Career Connect Washington Program Builder Grants) is sponsored by Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD). These grants support entities that create, expand, or enhance Career Launch, Career Prep, and Career Explore programs in Washington State. Eligible Career Launch programs are credit-bearing and have received an endorsement from the Career Launch Endorsement Review (CLER) team.

WSAC provides grants to eligible Career Launch endorsed programs at public four-year institutions to provide for new or expanded enrollment Eligible Career Launch programs are credit-bearing programs that have received an endorsement from the Career Launch Endorsement Review (CLER) team.

Grant-funded resources will support the implementation of new and expanded Career Launch endorsed programs by providing Full-Time Equivalent Student (FTES) funding to successful applicants. Building a Career Launch Pipeline: On behalf of the Career Connect Washington (CCW) coalition, the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD) issues CCW Program Builder grants to entities who create, expand, or enhance Career Launch , Career Prep , and Career Explore programs. Grants are issued to successful bidders via a Request for Proposals (RFP) process.

ESD typically conducts two to three RFP rounds per year, awarding roughly 10-15 grants per round. Public baccalaureate institutions are eligible and encouraged to apply. All procurement details, such as application requirements and timelines, are published on WEBS .
