Applications set to open for Carson City Arts and Culture grants - Carson Now For Stan: Community Tile Project created by more than 300 Carson City community members is at the Amphitheater in Seely Loop, Mills Park. It was donated to the City as part of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership 2024 Class Project, in memory of Stan Jones.
In collaboration with the Carson City Redevelopment Authority, the Carson City Arts and Culture Program will be accepting applications for the fiscal year (FY) 2026 Carson City Redevelopment Arts and Culture Grants. Completed applications and all required supporting material must be submitted via email to afreeman@carson. org between April 1 and April 30, 2025.
For more information and details on how to apply: carson. org/arts . Funds may be used by Northern Nevada nonprofits to support the execution of one arts and culture project/event or a series of related activities.
Examples of eligible projects include art exhibitions, performances, readings, and festivals. This round of grant funding is for projects or events that will take place between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. Grants of $2,500 to $5,000 are available at the discretion of the Board of Supervisors for arts and culture projects or events.
