Grant Applications – Mission Meow Cat Rescue Grant Application Mission Meow provides targeted, impact-driven grants to small cat rescues and nonprofit organizations working on the front lines of TNR, adoption, and community cat advocacy. Our grants are designed to fund a specific well-defined initiative or purchase with clear milestones and a realistic completion date.

We believe focused funding creates measurable outcomes, sustainable growth, and meaningful change for cats and the people who care for them. Keep in mind, Mission Meow does not provide financial assistance for rent, medical bills, spay and neuter, or monthly expenses such as food, litter and basic supplies .

Mission Meow grants are available to : 501(c)(3) feline-focused nonprofit organizations Organizations with annual revenue under $250,000 Groups operating in good standing with clear leadership and financial transparency We prioritize small, community-based organizations where a grant can create tangible, transformative impact. Mission Meow grants currently average $7,000 to $15,000 .

Funding amounts vary based on project scope, organizational capacity, and demonstrated need. We give grants for cat rescues quarterly! Applications are only accepted the month prior in the first 2 weeks.

Applications sent outside of these dates will not be accepted. January grant – Applications accepted the first 2 weeks of December. April grant – Applications accepted the first 2 weeks of March.

July grant – Applications accepted the first 2 weeks of June. October grant – Applications accepted the first 2 weeks of September. The Mission Meow Grant Application consists of several components.

Memorandum Of Understanding (Required) I agree This section describes the expectations between your organization and Mission Meow. Once the application is approved and the fundraising month ends Mission Meow will present a check to the benefiting nonprofit and photos are to be taken at the time of presentation.

The benefiting nonprofit agrees that the funds are restricted to the project or purchase stated on the application. The benefiting nonprofit agrees to provide receipts for all expenditures related to the grant. The Brodie Fund was inspired by the love of a cat named Brodie and for 6 years offered financial assistance to families that had pets diagnosed with cancer. She was also mom to Marlin The Buddha Cat who bravely lived everyday to the fullest while living with cancer for 2 years. His legacy is Marlin Nation and his life is one of the inspirations for Mission Meow.

Sally is also the founder of Rescuing The Rescuers. This group is a safe space offering support and guidance related to compassion fatigue and burnout to those working in cat rescue, shelter, TNR, and the nonprofit community. A lifelong animal lover and retired cat behavior consultant, Sally was a member of The Pet Professional Guild and the IAABC.

Sally is a public speaker, animal advocate and long time volunteer for Catsbury Park. She is also a certified Animal Reiki Practitioner and member of the Shelter Animal Reiki Association. Sally currently shares her home with The Pawsome Foursome aka West, Henry, Jonesey and Jameson.
