2026 Catalyst Grant Awards ##### MICDE CATALYST GRANTS MICDE Catalyst Grants are seed funding to de-risk bold research directions and prepare teams for competitive external funding.
They fund innovative research projects that integrate mathematics, computer science, and domain sciences, focusing on topics such as novel algorithms, modeling frameworks, data-driven discovery methods, scalable and efficient approaches that leverage HPC or AI, foundational tools and frameworks for next-generation scientific computing, and computational applications in engineering and the sciences.
