At CATALYSTS, we invest in emerging organizations that are driving meaningful change in Atlanta’s under-resourced communities.

Our grant program is designed to provide flexible financial support to minority-led and minority-serving nonprofits at critical moments in their growth- specifically, those organizations who are building innovative programs, strengthening their operations, and creating meaningful change. We recognize that many impactful organizations begin with limited resources.

Our grant program is designed to help promising nonprofits gain early momentum while building the infrastructure needed for long-term sustainability. Applications for the grant in the 2026-2027 cycle will open on May 1 and close on August 27, 2026. All 2026-2027 grant applicants will be notified of decisions by October 25, 2026.

Here are some of our CATALYSTS grant recipients Applications are reviewed by the CATALYSTS Foundation leadership team and advisors.

We prioritize organizations that are: Building innovative solutions to community challenges Led by founders with strong ties to the communities they serve Positioned for growth but currently under-resourced Selected organizations may also be invited to: Share their work at a CATALYSTS event Participate in future programming or community partnerships Engage with our broader network of supporters At CATALYSTS, we believe small investments can spark big change .

By supporting emerging nonprofits early in their journey, we aim to strengthen leaders, organizations, and communities for years to come.

CATALYSTS awards $1,000 grants to selected nonprofit partners. Can nonprofits reapply for funding? Yes.

Past grantees may be eligible to reapply depending on program guidelines and available funding.
