Applications are now open for The Rideau Hall Foundation's Catapult Canada Initiative - Applications are now open for The Rideau Hall Foundation’s Catapult Canada Initiative The Rideau Hall Foundation announced that applications are now open for the Catapult Canada Initiative , which aims to expand equitable access to education for youth across Canada.
The Initiative provides grants that will support diverse projects at different levels. Catapult Grants will seed innovation in access to learning and education, particularly through the work of small to mid-size organizations. It will also support larger organizations to widen their impact, and strengthen their connections with communities.
Catapult Canada Initiative Funding Streams: This funding stream is open to all initiatives that align with the Catapult Funded Project Objectives. Initiatives will directly or indirectly support learners in communities across Canada to eliminate barriers to learning opportunities and to increase equity of access to learning pathways. Project must fulfill one or more of the Catapult Funded Project Objectives.
Project primary beneficiaries must be youth in Canada (ages 12-29). Applying organizations and project operations must be based in Canada. Applying organizations must be Canadian registered charities or registered nonprofits.
Available funding range is $25,000 to $150,000 CAD per project. Maximum project funding duration is 18 months; projects must end by March 31st, 2027. Targeted Stream: Newcomer, Refugee, and NEET Youth This funding stream is for projects that are specifically designed to address the needs of newcomers to Canada, refugees, youth fleeing violence/trauma, and youth not in education, employment, or training (NEET youth).
Project must fulfill one or more of the Catapult Funded Project Objectives. The project’s design must prioritize the needs of youth who are newcomers to Canada, refugees, youth fleeing violence/trauma, and/or NEET youth. Project primary beneficiaries must be youth in Canada (ages 12-29) who are either newcomers to Canada, refugees, youth fleeing violence/trauma, and/or NEET youth.
Applying organizations and project operations must be based in Canada. Applying organizations must be Canadian registered charities or registered nonprofits. Available funding range is $25,000 to $100,000 CAD per project.
Maximum project funding duration is 12 months; projects must end by September 30th, 2026. Priority will be given to small and medium-sized organizations with annual budgets of <$1M. Application Deadline: June 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.
