CBE Cares | Community Engagement - CBE Companies Leading the Way in Supporting Our Communities “Doing the Right Thing” is an integral part of our culture that protects our clients, but also extends outside of our offices and business hours.
As a company and as individual employees, we emphasize community engagement by dedicating our time, talents, and financial resources to support local charities and organizations in towns and cities near our offices. Apply for Community Outreach Program At CBE Companies, we are deeply committed to enriching the communities where we live and work.
Through a combination of strategic partnerships, volunteer programs, and charitable donations, we aim to create a meaningful change and provide opportunities that make a lasting impact. Community Outreach Program CBE employees can donate $5 to $25 per paycheck to support local charities in Iowa, Tennessee, and Texas.
Each quarter, over $15,000 is donated, and participants are entered into a monthly drawing to win one of ten Mental Health Days (PTO). Employees vote each quarter on which charities receive the funds, ensuring collaboration. Even more exciting is that the selected charities are kept a surprise until the donation is presented.
United Way Annual Fundraiser The month of October is dedicated to raising funds for the United Way, a tradition we are proud to uphold. Historically, our employees have shown tremendous generosity, collectively raising an average donation of $50,000.
This significant effort is bolstered by partnerships with local businesses, internal contests and events throughout the month, as well as payroll deduction contributions made by members of our team. We are deeply committed to supporting educational opportunities in local K-12 schools through initiatives like Franklin Covey's Leader in Me Program, which aims to foster leadership skills and personal effectiveness in young students.
Our employees also participate in buddy programs, fundraisers, back-to-school supply collections, and mentoring students through the Junior Achievement Program. We partner with the Philippines Public Employment Service Offices to support workforce development efforts led by local government units across Metro Manila. Our participation in job fairs and employer conferences plays a role in reducing unemployment in our communities.
We actively support public schools by participating in Brigada Eskwela, a nationwide program designed to prepare public schools for the upcoming academic year. CBE volunteers also contribute by repairing and repainting classrooms, creating a better learning environment for students.
Recently, we gave back to public-school children at Aguho Elementary School through our Fill-the-Backpack and Secret Santa activities, ensuring they have the supplies and support they need to succeed.
