Use CDA’s Low-cost Dental Services search toolto find care near you. ## Volunteer-powered Dental Care Events The CDA Foundation hosts CDA Cares Connects, a program that allows volunteer dentists, with the assistance of other dental and health professionals and community volunteers, to provide dental services at no charge to individuals throughout the state.

The CDA Foundation is partnering with the Department of Health Care Services, CDPH Office of Oral Health, and Trinity County Local Oral Health Program to serve the Trinity County community at a free, mobile dental clinic. Individuals and families who wish to set an appointment should call 888-585-3368. **Dates:** October 9 – 12, 2024 **Time:** 8 a.

m. – 3 p. m.

**Location:** Weaverville Veterans’ Memorial Hall What is CDA Cares – Trinity County? The CDA Foundation’s volunteer-led dental clinic will take place Oct. 9-12 in Weaverville, CA and will serve students in TK – 4th grade and their parents/guardians.

Dentists and dental professionals will provide minimally invasive services, fillings, and extractions, and dental hygiene services as needed, during the clinic. When is the CDA Cares Trinity County event? The event will be held on Wednesday, October 9 – Saturday, October 12 in Weaverville, CA.

Do I have to volunteer for all four days of the clinic? No. But, due to the remote location of the clinic, the Foundation prefers that volunteers stay for the entire clinic. Volunteers who do not wish to stay for the entire clinic must commit to serve either the first two days or last two days of the four-day clinic.

12 or morning Oct. 13) What services will be available at the CDA Cares Trinity County event? Fluoride varnish, cleanings, ITRs, fillings, extractions, oral health education, and dental hygiene services will be offered at this event.

Is there a hotel block for volunteers? The CDA Foundation can provide lodging and transportation (roundtrip to Sacramento) to volunteers who commit to one of the shifts listed above, at no cost to you. We will also provide all meals while you are volunteering at the event.

I live in Trinity County, how do I make an appointment? CDA Cares Trinity County is partnering with the Trinity County Office of Education to serve TK through fourth grade students in the county. Families who wish to set up an appointment should contact myishia.

I want my child to be seen, but I want to be with them. How will that work? The clinic will be ope n to parents or guardians who bring their child.
