(EST) * **Expected award date: **June 30, 2024 * ## [The purpose of the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) program is to prevent sexual violence perpetration and victimization by increasing protective factors and decreasing risk factors. This can be achieved through a public health approach that implements and evaluates comprehensive strategies based on the best available evidence.
## [The goal of [Social Ecological Model * Build infrastructure for sexual violence prevention. * Work with the state health department to develop or enhance a state or territory action plan. * Implement community and societal-level sexual violence prevention strategies that promote health equity.
* Use data to inform prevention action. * ### The goal is for communities to increase their use of sexual violence prevention strategies and programs that focus on areas with a high burden of sexual violence.
