Green Business - Western Resilience Center Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley The Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN) of the Yampa Valley is a free program that helps businesses reduce environmental impact, lower costs, and gain statewide recognition. It’s part of a larger statewide effort supported by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
Western Resilience Center serves as the regional partner for the Colorado Green Business Network in Northwest Colorado. Through simple steps reducing energy use, cutting waste and improving water practices, organizations can make a measurable impact. The CGBN offers the tools and support to make those steps easier. Businesses that join the Network receive: Free one-on-one sustainability coaching.
Customized improvement plans based on operations. Recognition from the State of Colorado. Access to tools that cut energy, water, and waste.
Help finding rebates, funding, and green certifications. Any business or organization in the Yampa Valley is eligible no matter the size, sector, or starting point. Whether you’re a coffee shop, contractor, nonprofit, or lodging business, the program meets you where you are.
Register for free by filling out the online form. Meet with our team to identify your current practices and goals. We guide you through the statewide GreenBiz Tracker tool to establish a sustainability baseline.
Based on your operations, we recommend steps to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and unlock cost savings. Once you’ve made progress, you can apply for bronze, silver, or gold recognition through the State of Colorado. Our team helps you every step of the way.
