Applications for 2027 Community Based Funding – Morris County, NJ opens in new tab or window Applications for 2027 Community Based Funding Separate SEALED Applications will be received by the Morris County Department of Human Services by Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 2:00PM, Eastern Standard Time in the Morris County Department of Human Services, Morris Plains, New Jersey for the respective projects as follows: APPLICATIONS FOR 2027 COMMUNITY BASED FUNDING The Morris County Board of County Commissioners is announcing the availability of Year 2027 funding for the following: Grant-In-Aid (GIA) – funding for the areas of mental health, substance use, aging, veterans, disabilities, youth services, and general human services.
Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) – funding to support child abuse prevention programs Chapter 51 (Alcohol, Tobacco, and other Drug Treatment and Prevention) – funding for substance use for education and prevention, treatment, recovery, treatment and prevention, recovery supports, and detox services Youth Justice Funding (State Community Partnership, Family Court, Core Services) – funding for community-based services for at-risk juveniles or to prevent juvenile delinquency Opioid Settlement Funds – funding to combat the opioid epidemic through treatment, prevention, and/or other strategies for the residents of Morris County.
