Established in 2020, the Foundation operates as a separate, private 501(c)(3) charitable entity. Driving positive change through community investment The Foundation advances Labcorp’s global mission by investing in programs that expand access to healthcare, education and community well-being.

Funding priorities include initiatives addressing social determinants of health (such as food insecurity, housing, etc.) as well as supporting patient assistance programs, medical research, health screenings, STEM education and disaster relief efforts.

To be considered for support from The Labcorp Charitable Foundation, organizations must: Hold Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, or be an equivalent charitable organization under local law eligible to receive charitable contributions Align with one or more of the Foundation’s focus areas: health and welfare, education, or community well-being Submit all requests through the Foundation’s application portal (phone solicitations are not accepted) The Foundation does not provide funding for: Capital campaigns, construction or renovation projects Political campaigns or candidates Individual or team sports, sport clubs, activities or events Incentive or reward programs General operating support Please note this list is not intended to be comprehensive.

What do I do if I receive the request to complete the Grant Report, but the funded project/program has not yet been completed?

While the initial request to complete the grant report disburses 90 days after payment, with automated reminders issued every 30 days thereafter, we understand that funded programs may still be in progress. If the project has not yet concluded, please wait until the program is complete before submitting your report.

Grant reports should be submitted within one year of receiving funds and should reflect the outcomes achieved through the funded project. What are the reporting requirements for grantees? Grant recipients will receive a request to complete a final grant report through the online portal.

Payment and Funding Administration Can The Labcorp Charitable Foundation redirect payment for an approved application or set up ACH? No. Due to security measures in place, we are not able to make changes to payment preferences on an agency’s behalf.

All changes must be made by an account owner. When can I expect to receive funds if my application is approved? Fund disbursement typically occurs within 60 days of approval.

Payment status can be viewed through the Blackbaud GrantsConnect platform. What happens if our project changes after receiving funding? Organizations should promptly notify The Labcorp Charitable Foundation ( CharitableFoundation@labcorp.

com ) of any significant changes to the funded project, including changes to the scope, timeline, or use of funds. The Foundation will review the changes and provide guidance as appropriate. Application Review and Notification How long does the review process take?

While review timelines may vary, applicants are typically notified within 60 days of submission. Large funding requests require additional review and approvals. These requests are reviewed by the Foundation in March and September, so review of these requests may take approximately six months, depending on when they are submitted.

Will I be notified if my application is denied? Yes, applicants will receive all status updates, including decisions and requests for additional information, via email. Status updates can also be accessed in the applicant’s Blackbaud GrantsConnect account.

How can my organization prepare to apply? Prior to applying, organizations must register with the Blackbaud Verified Network if they do not already have an account. Registration is free and is required to apply.

How are applications evaluated?

Applications are evaluated based on several factors, including alignment with the Foundation’s funding priorities, defined goals and implementation plans, anticipated outcomes, and geographic impact. Can my organization apply for funding for the same program more than once per year? No, a program may receive funding from The Labcorp Charitable Foundation only once within a 12-month period.

What if my organization does not meet the eligibility criteria? Organizations that do not meet the eligibility criteria should not apply. Applications from ineligible organizations will not be approved.

Who is eligible to apply for funding? Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or international equivalents) that align with the Foundation’s mission. Since The Labcorp Charitable Foundation has supported our program in the past, does this mean our request will be funded every year?

No, previous funding does not guarantee future support. What geographic areas are eligible for funding? Organizations located throughout the United States and around the world are eligible to apply for funding.

Priority is given to programs and initiatives that serve communities in and around where Labcorp employees live and work.
