Through this program, you’ll gain access to practical tools, expert guidance, and targeted resources to help you strengthen and grow your child care business – whether you’re just getting started or looking to expand. This is not a one-size-fits-all program. It’s built to meet providers where they are and connect them with the business support they actually need.
Once you apply and are accepted into the program, you’ll be connected to support tailored to your needs.
Business advising focused on your specific goals and challenges Access to tools and resources to improve operations, human resources, financial management, and growth planning Connections to partners and experts who understand the child care landscape Targeted opportunities such as training, peer learning, or funding pathways (as available) Child Care Business Essentials exists to: Support the long-term sustainability of child care businesses Help providers make informed decisions that improve stability and growth Strengthen the overall child care ecosystem so families and employers can thrive When child care businesses succeed, it creates stronger communities, a more stable workforce, and better opportunities for Michigan families.
