Child Care & Development Block Grant (CCDBG)

Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) is sponsored by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Child Care (OCC). The CCDBG provides federal funding to states, territories, and tribes for child care subsidies for low-income families with children under age 13, and to improve the overall quality of child care within existing state and local systems. Funds support child care licensing, quality improvement systems, and training and education for child care workers.
