In particular, NIJ seeks applications that address interventions; justice system responses; and child development, coping, and resilience. Children Exposed to Violence (CEV) encompasses a broad area that includes both children as victims of various forms of violence and as bystanders or observers of various forms of violence in the home, school, or the community.
However, this solicitation is limited to violence that occurs in the home and excludes violence within the school, community, or popular culture, such as television, movies, music, and video games.
