This amount may increase if additional funding partners participate.
The maximum amount per grant is $75,000 per year for up to one year. Description : The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support projects that use data from existing Canadian-based cohorts, databases, cohort catalogues, and data platforms, to advance knowledge in human development, child and/or youth health with the goal to improve patient, population, and system outcomes.
This funding opportunity is led by IHDCYH in partnership with the CIHR Institutes of Cancer Research (ICR), Genetics (IG), Indigenous People’s Health (IIPH), Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA), Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA) and Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD).
In addition to a general pool, separate funding pools will support projects relevant to both the overall purpose and the following priority research areas: Equity-denied groups; cancer; genetics; Indigenous health; musculoskeletal health; neurosciences, mental health and addiction; and nutrition, metabolism and diabetes. See procedure #4 below.
