CJP Opportunity Grants is sponsored by Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP). Designed to support organizations working within CJP’s catchment area that received less than $10,000 or no funding from CJP in the fiscal year, excluding Communal Security Initiative grants.

Jewish Grants and Scholarships in Greater Boston | CJP Apply for a CJP grant or scholarship CJP supports Jewish life at every level. We provide scholarships that open doors for individual children and adults and grants that help organizations sustain a rich, inclusive Jewish life and respond to urgent needs in Greater Boston, Israel, and beyond.

Through strategic grant-making, CJP invests in organizations, programs, and people in Greater Boston, Israel, and around the world to create transformational impact. Our grants and supporting services strengthen Jewish life, advance community safety and security, support vulnerable community members, and help organizations grow and innovate. New grant opportunities are added throughout the year, so please check back regularly.

From first-time campers to organizations addressing global crises, our grantees are as varied and diverse as our community. Embracing all of who we are Using these guiding principles as our north star, our work and investments focus on three critical impact areas: Strong, Safe, Caring, Community Israel Connection and Rebuilding Grants for organizations and programs Arts and Culture Community Impact grants CJP’s Arts and Culture Community Impact grants support individuals and collaborative groups in bringing their artistic visions to life.

Boston’s Jewish at work stipends CJP’s Center for Combating Antisemitism, in partnership with Natan Fund, is awarding a limited number of stipends to support and empower Jews in the workplace while fostering belonging and safety at work. To keep people safe in Jewish spaces, CJP offers grants to cover the purchase, installation, and maintenance of security systems.

Applicants may receive up to $100,000 for their physical security system. The Miriam Fund (TMF) creates opportunities for women and girls in Greater Boston and Israel. In our 2025–2026 class, TMF awarded $405,000 to 22 organizations.

CJP’s Boston-Israel Fund partners with Israel-based organizations and leaders to build a stronger, more resilient future by tackling critical challenges, supporting innovative leaders, and growing transformational ideas. One Happy Camper offers up to $1,000 off your child’s first summer at Jewish overnight camp. CJP Jewish Overnight Camp Affordability Scholarships CJP provides funding directly to our 14 partner camps to help make overnight camp more affordable for Greater Boston families. Contact your child’s camp to learn about available financial aid.

CJP also provides scholarships for up to $1,500 for students who attend non-partner camps. Israel should be within every Jewish teen’s reach. We provide up to $1,500 to help teens participate on a trip that will stay with them forever.

CJP College Scholarship Fund Awards to eligible undergraduate students who reside in the Greater Boston area. The Fund is non-sectarian, but primary consideration is given to Jewish students. Individuals who apply are considered on the basis of economic need and merit.
