**Deadline:** October 15, 2026; May 15, 2027 **Sponsor:**Division 9 opens in new window The Clara Mayo Grant program was set up to support masters’ theses or pre-dissertation research on aspects of sexism, racism, or prejudice, with preference given to students enrolled in a terminal master’s program. Studies of the application of theory or the design of interventions or treatments to address these problems are welcome.
Up to six grants will be awarded annually. The maximum amount of any grant is $1,000. Proposals that include a college or university agreement to match the amount requested will be favored, but proposals without matching funds will also be considered.

To be eligible for this grant the applicant must be: * matriculated in graduate programs in psychology, applied social science, and/or related disciplines * a student and not be applying for grants-in-aids in the same award year as applying for the Clara Mayo award * submitting only one Mayo application per calendar year **Deadlines: May 15, October 15. ** Online submissions are the preferred method.
