The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Water Well Viewer (WWV), is an interactive mapping system that displays water wells along with other information, such as wellhead protection areas, underground storage tanks, and sites of environmental contamination. Water well locations have been identified by address matching, the use of global positioning systems (GPS), and by legal descriptions.
This system allows water well drilling and pump installation contractors to submit water well records.

Clean Energy Workforce Development Program The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE), Energy Unit is offering grants to strengthen and develop training programs, apprenticeships, and career pathways centered around the advancement of clean energy through continued partnerships with various state agencies and the expansion of existing K-12 school energy programs.
## Eligibility Requirements Any 501(c)(3) organizations, 501(c)(6) organizations, and small businesses (<500 employees) located in Michigan are eligible to apply.
The following types of projects are eligible to apply: Eligible projects must involve/address gaps in Michigan online databases of public and private advanced energy workforce development training for both participants and employers, increase access to wrap around services for training participants, and continue to build and maintain relationships with education institutions at all levels.
A total of $250,000 in funding is expected to be available, with the average individual grant awards ranging from $5,000 - $50,000. Eligible expenditures include contractual services, supplies/materials, and equipment items. EGLE WILL NOT FUND ANY EXPENDITURES THAT HAVE OCCURRED BEFORE A GRANT AGREEMENT HAS BEEN EXECUTED.
Grant awards will be distributed on a reimbursement basis only, meaning grantees must pay project costs in full prior to receiving funds from EGLE. EGLE will reimburse grantees their award amount once proper invoices, receipts, and proof of payments have been received and reviewed.
