The funding opportunity has since closed.
Learn More About the Grant Program EPA Awards CHDV Grant Funding Learn more about the proposed projects set to replace an estimated 2,000 legacy school buses and vocational vehicles with new zero-emission vehicles. Under the 2024 Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant Program, the EPA will improve the lives of millions of Americans by reducing pollution in neighborhoods where people live, work, play, and go to school.
The program will also create high-quality clean energy jobs.
