Electric Service Discount Natural Gas Service Discount Weatherization Assistance Ameren recognizes there are families struggling and in need of assistance who don’t qualify for many of the existing federal and state assistance programs. The Clean Slate program is available for gas customers who have past due accounts. This program is not currently available for Illinois customers.
To be eligible for Clean Slate, gas customers must meet the following requirements: Have an active Ameren Missouri gas account that is past due, including those on payment agreements, or reconnecting an account Pay 10% of the past-due balance Experiencing financial hardship Household income up to 300% of the federal poverty level To apply for the program, please connect with an agency partner who will help guide you through the application process.
