Climate Smart Communities Initiative – Helping communities prepare for the future The Climate Smart Communities Initiative (CSCI) supports local leaders and adaptation practitioners in advancing climate adaptation and resilience plans and projects in communities across the United States. If you work in a local, regional, or Tribal government, or with a community-based organization, explore what the Initiative can do for you.

CSCI is a unique public-private partnership managed by a consortium of six organizations, including the Climate Resilience Fund, EcoAdapt, Fernleaf, Geos Institute, ICF, and NRDC, working in collaboration with the NOAA Climate Program Office, and with support from The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Walton Family Foundation.
