This grant program addresses barriers to practice and facilitates pathways to assist immigrant IMGs to integrate into the Minnesota health care workforce, specifically by preparing IMGs for admission into medical residency programs. Integrating IMGs into our physician workforce increases access to primary care, particularly in rural and underserved areas of Minnesota.
