The total amount awarded for these classroom grands was over $20,500 dollars. In 2023-2024, thirteen classrooms in Clinton school district were awarded grants from the Clinton Community Educational Foundation (CCEF). The total for these grant awards was almost $18,000 dollars.

CCEF established a unique cooperative arrangement with Richland Community College in 2015. This arrangement provides eligible Clinton High School seniors the opportunity to obtain college credit for coursework completed as part of their high school curriculum – and at a significant savings to the student.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, dual credit classes covered under this arrangement will include: English 101, English 102, Psychology 110, and Sociology 110 and will only cost the student $50. 00 per class . Additionally, Environmental Biology and Chemistry 100 courses are taught by CHS staff so those courses are FREE to students minus just a lab fee each semester.

o Taking all four of the dual credit classes at Richland Community College would regularly cost $1,692. 00. o Students earn 12 college credit hours – almost an entire semester’s worth of classes!

(Note - The free courses are four credit hour courses. If students took ALL of the courses we offer, they could earn 20 credits for the year.) o Significant savings!

Students save $1,492. 00 by taking advantage of these dual credit classes while in high school. The Clinton Community Educational Foundation wishes you all the best as you plan for your final year.

Where are these classes held? In the past, we were very fortunate to have Richland Community College's Clinton Education Center located just to the Southwest of CHS. Currently, classes are being held at CHS.

In the Spring of the CHS student's Junior Year, Student Services will work with all of the Junior Class to enroll for their Senior Class schedule. At this time the Student Services office will need to know if you intend to take any of the Dual Credit Classes offered by CCEF through Richland Community College.

CCEF Scholarships that are Available to CUSD15 Graduates The CCEF Board oversees the selection and disbursement of fourteen scholarships. These scholarships are available to Clinton High School seniors that meet criteria as outlined in the scholarship application.

Vincent Beggs Scholarships Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship On behalf of the late Mr. Beggs, the Foundation would like to award four students, each with a $1,250 scholarship to continue their education next year. Additionally, this scholarship is renewable each year by the student, for up to the next three years-- making the total value of this scholarship $5,000.

Beggs Memorial Scholarship: for students planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university to pursue an undergraduate degree. Award Amount: $5000 (annual payment of $1250 up to four years) Beggs Technical/Vocational Scholarship: f or students planning to enroll full-time at an accredited vocational or technical institution of post-secondary education including programs at Community/Junior Colleges.

Award Amount: $2500 (one-time payment) The Beggs Scholarship Application will be Available for Download in November 2025. Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship The Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship is Available to students graduating from CUSD15 in Clinton, Illinois.

Constellation has partnered with CUSD#15 to launch the Constellation Clinton Clean Energy STEM Scholarship Program, which provides students scholarship assistance, opportunities for internships and early career readiness support to help prepare them for rewarding careers within the energy industry. The scholarship recipient will also have an opportunity to participate in an internship at Constellation's Clinton Power Station.

$2,500 scholarship for one (1) high school student in underserved or under-represented communities in Illinois for student enrolling in a STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited college or university. $500 for vocational programming supporting STEM activities that provide skills to prepare students for work in the nuclear industry.

James Adcock Teacher Scholarship Constellation - Clinton Power Station Scholarship Gerald Ryan Agriculture Scholarship The James Adcock Teacher Scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Clinton High School who has been accepted or is currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate teacher-education program at an accredited college or university. The amount of the scholarship award will be $500.

The scholarship recipient will be the person who is deemed most qualified by the scholarship committee. Selection will be made on the basis of information provided on the application forms, an official transcript, an essay, and recommendations. Applicants (including past recipients) may reapply for the scholarship for subsequent years.

Deadline is Gerald Ryan Agriculture Scholarship Gerald Ryan Agriculture Scholarship The Gerald “Jerry” Ryan Agriculture Scholarship is offered by the Jerry Ryan family in his memory.. Jerry was a DeWitt County farmer for many years.

This scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Clinton Community High School who has been accepted or is currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate agricultural related program (individuals not pursuing an agricultural degree but who have been active in 4H and FFA or at least FFA in high school are also eligible) at an accredited junior college, college or university.

The amount of the scholarship will be $500, one or two scholarships may be awarded. Selection will be based on information provided on the application forms, an official transcript, an essay, and recommendations. Applicants (including past recipients) may reapply for the scholarship for subsequent years.

Deadline is Chenoweth Family Memorial Scholarship The Chenoweth Family Memorial Scholarship is to be awarded in an agriculture/home economics/hospitality area to honor the Chenoweth family's grandparents who were long-time farmers in DeWitt County, or in a music-related field (performance/education/music therapy) to honor the Chenoweth family's mother, a 1956 Wapella High School graduate.

This scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Clinton high School who has been accepted or is currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university/community/technical college pursuing a four-year undergraduate or two-year degree. Selection will be based on information provided on the application forms, an official transcript, an essay, and recommendations. Applicants may reapply for the scholarship for one subsequent year.

Deadline is Sgt. Rebecca “Becki” Farris Memorial Scholarship The Sgt. Rebecca “Becki” Farris Memorial Scholarship, named in memory of a former Clinton High School Alumni, recognizes the importance of Women in Law Enforcement Careers.

This scholarship is annual and is awarded $1,000 to one successful applicant. Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: • A young woman looking to start or continue education into a Law Enforcement career Selection will be based on information provided on the application forms, an official transcript, an essay, and recommendations. Applicants may reapply for the scholarship for one subsequent year.

An example of a trade could be welding, pipefitting, cosmetology, HVAC, massage therapy, electrician, plumbing, construction management, and many more. The Deanna Spencer Memorial Scholarships The Deanna Spencer Memorial Scholarships, named in memory of a former Clinton High School and Parkland College Alumni, and State Farm employee, recognize the importance of business degrees in today’s society. One application is open to current high school seniors that plan to pursue a business-related program at a junior college or 4-year college or university.

The amount of the scholarship will be $2,000. The other scholarship is open to current high school seniors that plan to pursue a degree by attending Parkland College upon graduation. The amount of the scholarship will be $2,000.

Ruth A. Lowers Memorial Scholarship H. Duane Harris Memorial Scholarship Mrs. Lowers resided in Clinton for 50 years.

She and her husband raised their three children here; all whom graduated from Clinton High School. Alongside her husband, Ted, they owned and operated businesses in Clinton for 35 years. Mrs. Lowers was a prominent supporter of education and advocated for students at all grade levels.

She served on the CUSD15 Board of Education for 16 years. She was president of the Board when the new junior high was built in 2005. She was a founding member of the Clinton Community Educational Foundation (CCEF) in 2006.

She served on the DeWitt County Dove, Inc. Board. She was a proud community member with a servant’s heart and always rooted for the underdog. A strong believer in education, serving your community through volunteerism, and lending a hand to all, she instilled those same values in her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

As a family, we are proud to continue her legacy through this generous memorial. This application is open to current high school seniors that plan to pursue higher education by attending a college/university or trade school. Two scholarships will be awarded annually; one for $1000 and one for $500 Applications in full are due in Student Services at CHS no later than Tuesday – Mar 31, 2026.

Duane Harris Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for students planning to enroll full-time at an accredited vocational or technical institution of post-secondary education OR entering into the agricultural field of study at a college or university.

- Two scholarships will be awarded annually - Past recipients could apply each year to be in the selection processes with new applicants - Award Amount: $500 each (One Time Payment) This scholarship was founded by the children and grandchildren of H. Duane Harris in honor of Duane’s passion for those entering a trade or agricultural field.

Duane worked for over 40 years as a lineman for General Telephone Company which became Verizon then Frontier. Duane was very adamant that a young person did not have to go to college to have a great career.

Stites was a resident of Clinton for seventy years. He came to Clinton as an employee of Revere Copper and Brass in 1951. In 1967, Max took a job with the Clinton Community School District Number 15 as district business manager, a position he held until his retirement in 1992.

The Memorial Scholarship is for students planning to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Scholarship is for students planning to pursue a certification or two-year degree at an accredited vocational or technical institution of post-secondary education including programs at Community/Junior Colleges. This application is open to current high school seniors.

These scholarships will be awarded two for $5000 annually and two for $2500 one time. Applications in full are due in Student Services at CHS no later than Tuesday March 31, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.

Warner & Kolb Scholarships About The Warner & Kolb Family Foundation The Warner & Kolb Family Foundation coordinates the philanthropic activities of the Warner & Kolb family and businesses. The Foundation carries on the philanthropic legacy of the late John Warner IV and draws its inspiration for catalytic giving from John’s dedication to transforming youth and communities through education and opportunity.

The mission of The Warner & Kolb Family Foundation is to foster the education and opportunity that enable individuals and communities to make lasting, positive contributions to the people and world around them. The John Warner IV Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was awarded in 2025. It is expected to recur every year for four years to that recipient.

It should be expected to be awarded to a new recipient next in 2029. The Warner & Kolb Aviation Scholarship This scholarship provides $2,500 per year for up to two consecutive years to graduating seniors or recent graduates from Dewitt County who are pursuing vocational training in aviation or aviation maintenance. A non-profit organization, the CCEF began as a grass-roots effort to assist the school district in their ongoing efforts to keep up with the growing deficit created by the State of Illinois.

It is the goal of the CCEF to provide support to meet the educational needs of the CUSD15 students. As of today, over $500,000 has been awarded in classroom grants and scholarships. The CCEF also facilitated the construction of the High School's Riddle Memorial Greenhouse and established the offsite Richland Community College Dual Credit Classes for CHS Seniors.

We have been entrusted with a few endowments that allow for us to offer several amazing scholarship opportunities for CUSD15 graduates. The Foundation is always seeking new people and ideas to assist in its endeavors.
