Press Release: Coast Central Credit Union Grant Program Awards $150,00 To Local Non-Profits, Schools, Community Organizations - Coast Central Credit Union Press Release: Coast Central Credit Union Grant Program Awards $150,00 To Local Non-Profits, Schools, Community Organizations Coast Central Credit Union is excited to announce our Board of Directors has approved a total of $150,000 in grants to 24 local organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties for the spring 2026 round of its Community Investment Program.
Coast Central also supports local communities through sponsorships and college scholarships for a total commitment of over $700,000 annually, and this year, CCCU employees are on pace to contribute over 8,000 hours in volunteerism. “Our commitment to ‘People Helping People’ goes beyond words—it’s reflected in how we invest in the long-term strength and well-being of our communities,” said President and CEO Fred Moore.
“Whether it’s expanding access to essential services, supporting local partnerships, or helping bring transformational projects to life, we take pride in standing alongside those doing the work on the ground. These investments represent more than funding—they represent trust, collaboration, and a shared responsibility to leave our communities better than we found them.
