Collective Futures Grant is sponsored by Seattle Pride Impact Fund. The Collective Futures Grant supports large-scale, collaborative initiatives driving systemic change for the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Washington State.

Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ community is fortunate to have a number of nonprofits advocating in support of diversity, inclusivity and equal human rights for all. | Seattle Pride Seattle Pride Impact Fund Since 2018, the Seattle Pride Impact Fund has distributed over $550,000 to organizations working at the heart of care, advocacy, and celebration for Seattle’s LGBTQIA2S+ community.

This is about fostering collaboration and creating a brighter, more inclusive future. The Seattle Pride Impact Fund prioritizes grassroots initiatives and collaborative programs that focus on uplifting LGBTQIA2S+ Arts & Culture, Youth Empowerment, BIPOC leadership, and Trans and Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) communities. Together, we’re building collective power and resilience for Seattle’s LGBTQIA2S+ community.

New for 2026, all applicants begin with a brief Letter of Interest (LOI). This helps us learn about your project early and ensures organizations only invest time in a full application when there is strong potential for funding. What is the difference between the Spark Grant and the Collective Futures Grant?

Up to $3,500 in funding + $1,500 in-kind support. Ideal for grassroots events celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ arts, culture, and connection. Collective Futures Grant: Up to $10,000–$15,000 in funding.

Best for large-scale, collaborative initiatives driving systemic change. Can I apply for both grants? No, each applicant may apply for only one grant per funding cycle.

Choose the grant that best aligns with your project’s scale, scope, and goals. Which grant should I choose for my project? Select the Spark Grant if your project focuses on smaller-scale, grassroots events or programs.

Opt for the Collective Futures Grant if your project requires significant funding for collaboration and long-term impact. Letters of Interest will be accepted from July 15 to September 1, 2026. Grant recipients will be announced in December 2026.

Funds will be dispersed in January of the following year.

Reach out to [email protected] with any additional questions. Who is eligible to apply? Eligible applicants must: Be a Washington State-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or have a fiscal sponsor.

Serve the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Washington State. Grassroots group or social collective in Washington State that align with Seattle Pride's mission Priority is given to organizations that: Have annual budgets under $500,000. Are led by BIPOC, women, or LGBTQIA2S+ individuals.

Individuals or for-profit entities. Religious programs that require participation in religious activities to access services. Invite-only or ticketed events with admission fees exceeding $10.

Projects outside Washington State. Step 1: Review Eligibility. Ensure your organization meets the criteria above.

Step 2: Prepare and Submit Your Letter of Interest . Letters of Interest will be accepted from July 15, 2026 to September 1, 2026 (see Letter of Interest section above). Step 3: Prepare Your Full Application.

Review the Application Questions while your LOI is under review. Choose the appropriate grant (Spark Grant or Collective Futures Grant). Develop a project proposal detailing impact, timeline, and budget.

Gather required documents Step 4: If invited to submit a full application based on your Letter of Interest, you will be notified on September 15, 2026. You will have until October 9, 2026 to submit the full online application. Can organizations that were funded in previous years apply again?

Yes, previous recipients are welcome to apply. Highlight how your new project builds on past work or explores a new initiative. What makes a strong application?

Applications will be evaluated based on: Impact & Alignment: Alignment with Seattle Pride’s mission and focus areas such as arts, youth, BIPOC leadership, and Trans/GNC empowerment. Community Engagement: Strategies to engage and uplift marginalized communities. Feasibility & Sustainability: Realistic goals, measurable outcomes, and long-term impact potential.

Creativity & Innovation: Unique approaches to community connection and visibility. Budget Transparency: A clear and justified budget. What documents are required with my application?

501(c)(3) Determination Letter or Fiscal Sponsor Agreement. If you are a grassroots group or social collective in Washington State without 501(c)(3) Determination Letter or Fiscal Sponsor Agreement, you can submit letters of community support or proof of impact through testimonials, media, or social engagement for consideration. Three years of IRS Form 990 filings (most recent).

Project Budget (using provided template). Staff/leadership involved in the project. For grassroots groups: Community endorsements, impact statements, and project budget.

Can collaboration with other organizations improve my chances? Yes, partnerships are highly encouraged, especially for the Collective Futures Grant. Collaboration demonstrates resource sharing and community impact.
