Colocation America is proud to support innovative and impactful STEM programs that inspire the next generation of learners. Our STEM Grant is designed to fund creative, developmentally appropriate programs that expand access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education for students across the United States.
## **Eligible Organizations & Schools** We welcome applications from: * Nonprofit charitable organizations classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service * Public school districts * Private or public elementary and secondary schools with STEM-specific programming Please note: Grant proposals must support a program or project serving Pre-K through 12th-grade students within the United States.
Our STEM Grant Selection Committee seeks to fund programs and projects that provide students with: * An innovative and unique approach to STEM learning * Developmentally appropriate STEM curriculum and/or resources * Activities that support the real-world application of STEM knowledge We proudly support both innovative pilot initiatives and well-established STEM programs operating throughout the U.S. 1.
**Five (5) Staff Choice Grants** – Five Colocation America staff members will each award $1,500 to an organization of their choice. 2. **STEM Grant Committee Awards** – The STEM Grant Committee will award 4–10 grants ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 per project.
_An organization may receive both a Staff Choice Grant and a STEM Grant Committee award.
_ **Allowable Use of Funds** * Grant funds may be used for: * Travel expenses (e.g., bus transportation) * Curriculum development and/or curriculum purchase * Professional development The following expenses are not supported: All awarded funds must be fully utilized no later than Sept 1, 2028 ### **STEM Grant Timeline** #### **Mandatory “Lunch & Learn” Informational Call (1 Hour)** Applicants must attend one of the following sessions: July 8th at 4:00 PM EST / 1:00 PM PST July 22nd at 5:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM PST Please select your session by completing this form: https://forms.
gle/ZUxE5JVVXWqg7DZ86 _Following the call, official grant guidelines will be emailed to registered participants. _ **Finalist Application Deadline:** October 31, 2026 **Awardees Announced:**December 11, 2026 **Funds Distributed:** January 1, 2027 ### **Application Process** Step 1: Attend one mandatory “Lunch & Learn” session. Step 2: Submit the STEM Grant Application by October 31, 2026.
Step 3: Await final decision (no later than December 11, 2026). ### **Selection Process** Applications will first be reviewed by the Corporate Responsibility Team and appointed Colocation America staff members, who will evaluate submissions using a structured scoring rubric to determine the top 30 organizations.
The top 30 applications will then be reviewed and scored by the Colocation America STEM Grant Selection Committee and five selected employees. Final awardees will be chosen based on rubric scores and overall program impact. #### **Additional Helpful Information:** * “What makes a strong proposal?
