By doing so, we also support the planet: investing in environmental projects that affect the way people live will mitigate climate change while also providing equitable access to the health and economic benefits of clean energy.
We are creating meaningful, sustainable change for people and the planet by offering loan products and programs for residents and commercial organizations who may otherwise not qualify for funding. We give people access to capital to fund clean energy projects for their homes and businesses.

CCEF offers a portfolio of loan products to help residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, municipal, affordable housing and nonprofit borrowers break down barriers of clean energy adoption. Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) Grant Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs that funds the acquisition and development of public parkland and outdoor recreational facilities. Northern California Environmental Grassroots Fund is a grant from Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment that funds small and emerging grassroots organizations in California building climate resilience and advancing environmental justice. The fund prioritizes groups rooted in historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC, frontline, and low-income populations, with strong advocacy, organizing, and outreach components. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations or fiscally-sponsored groups with annual income or expenses of $150,000 or less; government agencies, colleges, and universities are not eligible.
