Prior eligibility: Renters who are at risk of eviction and meet specific income limits and other qualifying factors. Households must be selected through either a Monthly Random Selection or Daily Random Selection process.
Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) is sponsored by Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Housing (DOH). The Division of Housing (DOH) offers emergency rental assistance funding for Coloradans who are behind on rent, meet income limits, and are at risk of eviction or displacement. Assistance can cover rental payments on a short-term basis and associated fees, and in some cases, relocation assistance.
