About Action Grants - Kicking The Stigma Supporting Mental Health Programs And Nonprofits As part of our mission, Kicking The Stigma helps raise and distribute funds to nonprofits that make a lasting impact in the mental health sector. All donations to our organization go directly to programs and projects that raise awareness around mental health disorders and increase access to evidence-based mental health care in Indiana and beyond.
Since inception, our Action Grant Program has supported more than 65 local and national nonprofits, empowering them to combat the mental health crisis, advocate for greater acceptance, and connect people with the treatment they need to thrive. Starting in 2025, the Kicking The Stigma Action Grant Program will now feature two separate grant opportunities.
The Legacy Action Grant is offered to select organizations Kicking The Stigma is looking to engage with in a more strategic way. Organizations will be contacted by a Kicking The Stigma representative for this opportunity. The Community Action Grant is open to organizations looking to receive up to $25,000 in funding.
Organizations must be a registered 501c3 and submit an interest form for their program that aligns with one of our five focus areas for funding. Applications for the 2026 Community Action Grant Interest Form have closed. Featured Grant Recipients Kicking The Stigma Action Grants provide financial support to programs and projects that align with our organization’s five key focus areas.
Nonprofits must submit their grant application to the area that best represents their project goals and methodology. Behavioral Health Workforce Development Equitable Access to Treatment and Resources Grassroots Peer-to-Peer Programming Awareness and Anti-Stigma Initiatives Applications for the 2026 Community Action Grant Interest Form have closed.
