Community Assist Grants - Community Foundation of Southern Indiana To be the partner and trusted resource for philanthropy in our community, providing stewardship of charitable intent so the impact of generosity will last for generations.
Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana’s Community Assist Grants fund small requests to support projects, programs, or activities that will positively impact the community served by the nonprofit.
Requests must align with the identified areas of need in the Priorities for Progress in Southern Indiana: 2025 Update , which explores the community’s aspirations for building on its assets to address the area’s highest priorities and greatest challenges. The year-round program is intended to serve nonprofits in both Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana, with one-time funding requests between $1,000 – $5,000 accepted quarterly .
Apply for a Community Assist Grant (Open Year-Round) What Priority Results Are We Looking For? For these populations, we will work with our nonprofit partners to help residents establish: Economic & Financial Well-Being Are a 501c(3) public charity in good standing with the IRS, or charitable projects that are fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) public charity in good standing with the IRS. Serve Clark and/or Floyd Counties in Indiana.
Organizations that have received grants through other CFSI competitive grant programs within the last 12 months are eligible to apply for this program so long as they are in good standing and compliant with their current grant agreement and reporting requirements.
